Amy studied at the University of Edinburgh and gained a First Class Honours degree in Zoology.

In 2005 she completed a Masters in Biological Photography and Imaging from the University of Nottingham, for which she gained a Distinction.

In the future Amy would like to combine her interests in biology, the environment and travel with her skills in photography, filmmaking and design.
